Every DoSieci.pl hosting account comes with a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate that turns on automatically and renews itself before it expires. You don't need to click anything or keep track of any deadline — it's part of the service, not an add-on you order separately.
How it works on a DoSieci.pl account
Once a domain points to our server, Plesk issues a Let's Encrypt certificate for it automatically — usually within a few minutes of correct DNS configuration. The certificate covers the domain, common variants (e.g. with www), and email. Renewal (Let's Encrypt issues certificates for 90 days at a time) also happens automatically, in the background, with no interruption to your site.
What to do if your browser shows "Not Secure"
- Check that the domain actually points to the DoSieci.pl server (DNS records) — a certificate won't be issued for a domain that hasn't been connected yet.
- If the site loads some resources (images, scripts) over
http://instead ofhttps://, the browser will still mark it as partially insecure — that's a bug in the site's code, not in the certificate. - None of that helped? Write to us with your domain address — we'll check the certificate's status in Plesk.
SSL in Plesk for your domain, website, and email
An SSL certificate in Plesk can be enabled for a domain, a subdomain, and email. That way, the browser shows a secure connection, and forms and logins on your site don't get flagged as insecure.
SSL is standard for WordPress, WooCommerce, and PrestaShop. When migrating, it's worth enabling the certificate on the new hosting before the final DNS switch.
