Ranker is a Google rank tracking tool included with paid DoSieci hosting. This guide shows how to open it, add keywords, read the results and set up e-mail reports. The Ranker panel is in Polish, so menu names below are given in Polish with an English translation.
How to open Ranker
- Log in to the DoSieci client panel.
- Go to Services and click your hosting service.
- In the “Ranker — Google rankings” box, click “Open Ranker”. The same link is in the service’s side menu.
You log in without an extra password. On your first visit Ranker already has your service’s domain and shows a “Pierwsze kroki” (first steps) box.
How to add keywords to track
There are three ways to add keywords:
- Your own: Ustawienia → Monitorowane frazy (Settings → Tracked keywords) → enter the keyword and click “Dodaj” (Add).
- From Visibility: Frazy → Widoczność (Keywords → Visibility) shows the keywords your website already ranks for in the Google TOP 100, with search volumes. Select them and click “Monitoruj zaznaczone” (Track selected).
- From keyword research: Wyszukiwarka fraz (Keyword research) — enter a topic and Ranker suggests keywords with monthly search volumes. Enter words you are not interested in as exclusions.
The number of keywords depends on your hosting plan — from 3 to 20 (see Ranker limits). A disabled keyword is not checked, but its history stays and you can enable it again.
First check and schedule
After adding keywords, click “Zmierz wszystkie” (Check all) in Ustawienia → Monitorowane frazy. Results usually appear within a few minutes; the “Pobierz wyniki” (Fetch results) button at the top refreshes them right away.
After that Ranker checks on its own: on Eco and Personal plans (and WordPress Start and Grow) weekly, early on Monday morning, and from the Business plan up every night. You can run one on-demand check per day.
How to read the results
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| A position, e.g. 7 | Your website is 7th among Google’s organic results. |
| Outside TOP 50 | We checked positions 1–50 without gaps and your website is not there. |
| Inconclusive | Google returned a shorter list and your website was not in the checked part. Ranker repeats such a check automatically. It is not a drop. |
| Fetch error | The check failed — this is missing data, not a ranking change. |
Gains and drops are counted only between conclusive checks. The overview (Przegląd) also shows the trend, keywords in the TOP 3/10/20, competitors and the pages that rank.
E-mail reports and alerts
In Ustawienia domeny (Domain settings), in the “Raporty i alerty e-mail” box, enter up to three addresses and choose:
- the report: weekly (Monday morning) or daily — available with daily checks;
- the report language: Polish, English or Ukrainian;
- alerts — a message right after a check confirms that a keyword dropped out of the TOP 10 or out of the measured range.
Use “Wyślij raport próbny” (Send a test report) to check that the messages arrive. Reports are sent from rank@dosieci.pl.
How to change the tracked domain
Go to Domeny (Domains) → “Twoje usługi hostingowe” (Your hosting services) and enter the new domain in the “Zmień domenę” (Change domain) field. You can change the domain once every 30 days. The previous one goes to the archive with its history, and active keywords move to the new domain.
Common problems
- I cannot see “Open Ranker”. Ranker is available for active, paid hosting services — not for free hosting.
- I cannot add a keyword. Your plan’s keyword limit is full: disable another keyword or choose a bigger plan.
- Ranker is read-only. The hosting service is suspended, e.g. waiting for payment. Everything comes back once it is paid.
